Sometimes, a measurement may not be evaluated correctly.
There can be various reasons for this—often, just a few minor adjustments are all it takes.
Check your contact
- Take off your shoes and socks.
- Place both feet completely on the foot electrodes.
- Grip the electrodes on the handlebar with both hands. Make sure your fingers and thumbs are positioned correctly.
- Maintain contact throughout the entire measurement.
- Make sure all contact indicators are green.
Check your posture
- Stand as still as possible during the measurement.
- Hold your arms slightly away from your torso.
- Make sure your thighs do not touch each other if possible.
- Do not change your posture during the measurement.
Check your surroundings
- Nearby electrical equipment may interfere with the measurement.
- Check whether the issue occurs when certain devices nearby are in use.
