Senior Manager Strategic Partnerships (m/f/d)

seca is the global market leader in medical measuring systems and precision scales, trusted by healthcare professionals in more than 110 countries. For more than 185 years, our name has stood for precision, quality, innovation, and reliability. Today, we are shaping the future of connected healthcare through intelligent solutions that combine medical-grade hardware, software, and data-driven insights.

To support our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Senior Manager Strategic Partnerships (m/f/d) to join our headquarters in Hamburg. Reporting directly to the co-CEO Sales & Marketing – and working closely with the executive board, you will identify, develop, negotiate, and scale strategic partnerships and growth opportunities.

This is not a purely strategic role. We are looking for an entrepreneurial builder who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. From developing business cases and negotiating partnerships to managing key accounts and driving commercial execution, you will turn opportunities into measurable business results. The position is based at our global headquarters in Hamburg.

Your Mission

Drive strategic partnerships and business growth

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop partnership opportunities across healthcare, medtech, digital health, diagnostics, fitness, and adjacent markets.
  • Build compelling business cases and growth plans that create measurable commercial impact.
  • Establish relationships with senior executives and lead commercial negotiations.
  • Own partnership opportunities from initial assessment through commercial agreement and scaling.

Grow strategic accounts

  • Act as business owner for seca’s most important strategic partners and key accounts.
  • Develop and execute joint growth plans to expand revenue, market reach, and customer value.
  • Drive account growth through new use cases, market expansion, co-innovation initiatives, and commercial partnerships.
  • Monitor partnership performance and ensure delivery of agreed business outcomes.

Drive partnership execution

  • Drive alignment across Business Development, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and other relevant functions to ensure commercial and organizational readiness.
  • Establish governance, KPIs, and review mechanisms for strategic partnerships.
  • Drive partner commitments, resolve commercial and organizational obstacles, and ensure agreed business objectives are delivered.

Shape joint value propositions

  • Collaborate with Product Management and external partners to shape compelling joint value propositions that create value for customers, partners, and seca.
  • Bring market, partner, and commercial perspectives into solution development and contribute to go-to-market strategies and ecosystem initiatives.

Advise and represent seca

  • Prepare executive decision proposals, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support corporate growth initiatives and strategic planning activities.
  • Represent seca in executive meetings, partner discussions, and industry events.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Key Account Management, Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or a comparable commercial leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building, negotiating, and growing strategic partnerships that generated measurable business impact.
  • Demonstrated success in developing existing strategic accounts and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing business cases, growth strategies, and partnership models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and C-level decision-makers internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured and pragmatic approach to decision-making and execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for action, ownership, and results.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, quickly create clarity, align stakeholders, and drive execution.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical technology, digital health, diagnostics, SaaS, or fitness markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with regulated products and international business environments is an advantage.
  • Fluent English required; good German skills are desirable.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 35%.
