MEDICA 2012 –

Backed by many years of know-how, seca offers innovative products that ideally support doctors and nurses. The newest example is the medical Body Composition Analyzer seca mBCA. It makes the complex scientific methods used to obtain a precise picture of body mass composition completely superfluous. During MEDICA interested visitors can watch a seca mBCA product demonstration or they can have their own body composition measured in less than 20 seconds. A related demonstration shows how the seca mBCA can be integrated in an Electronic Medical Record system. Personal data entered into a PC, for example, can be read into the seca mBCA via a barcode. After the measurement the data and analysis are assigned to the "patient file" so that every MEDICA visitor who's measured receives his personal body composition analysis as a PDF attachment to an e-mail. 
Furthermore, seca is presenting other product solutions – like the product system seca 360° wireless – that save time and effort in medical measuring and weighing.

Product information via QR code
By the way: Every seca product exhibited at MEDICA has a QR code on its product label. When a visitor scans the QR code on a measuring and weighing solution with a smartphone, he can call up the related product sheet or product data. He can instead ask that the information be sent to his personal e-mail address. This free service is available to every visitor to the seca stand via the WLAN set up by seca for just that purpose.
