Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d)

seca North America is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Financial Controller to monitor our company’s financial performance and establish complete transparency about the economic and financial situation for the management of the branch office.

What your typical tasks will be

  • Creating complete transparency about the economic and financial situation of the branch office
  • Provision of meaningful figures, data & facts for the management of the branch office
  • Preparation of reports, forecasts and analyses as well as preparation of the figures for the local management and the contact persons in the headquarters
  • Data collection, evaluation, analysis and derivation of optimization proposals
  • Execution of profitability calculations
  • Ensuring efficient controlling processes in the branch office
  • Responsible for sales controlling
  • Active participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements as well as reporting of quarterly and annual financial statements to the parent company
  • Standardization of data and data sources
  • Margin analysis of products
  • Continuous development and optimization of controlling reports and processes

Educational background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial controls, FP&A, and reporting

Skills and required knowledge

  • You are proficient in common MS Office applications, an expert in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with accounting, planning, and reporting tools and software
  • ERP experience in SAP
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in creating reports with QlikView or similar tools
  • You are a strong communicator and self-starter as well as a strong analytical mindset
